Each month, we'll be showcasing a different fish, with full description, drawing and even a fly (with recipe) that can be used to catch the fish! This new feature is written by Peter "Trout" Thompson, who needs no introduction here at Hook & Hackle. He is one of the foremost experts on fish and fly fishing in North America. New Blanks/Kits!

We are glad to announce a new series of blanks from North Fork Composites. All are made in the USA and designed by Gary Loomis. These tapers will be exclusive to Hook & Hackle and we believe these are some of the finest fly rod tapers ever made!
